Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for events, daily displays, and special orders, ensuring they meet customer specifications and quality standards
- Maintain the freshness and appearance of flowers by proper handling, storage, and rotation
- Assist customers with selecting flowers and designing custom arrangements, providing expert advice on floral choices and care
- Manage inventory levels of floral supplies, including ordering and stocking flowers, foliage, containers, and accessories
- Perform basic gardening and landscape maintenance tasks as needed to support store aesthetics
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience in floral design, with knowledge of floral design principles and techniques
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and maintain stock levels effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and merchandising is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail with creative flair in floral arrangement design
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a retail setting
