Flower Delivery and Helper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the delivery of goods to various locations, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. This position requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and moving, as well as the ability to operate delivery vehicles.

Duties

• Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading goods from the vehicle
• Ensure that all deliveries are made accurately and on time
• Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients
• Help navigate delivery routes and maintain timely schedules
• Perform routine checks on delivery vehicles for safety and maintenance
• Handle products with care to prevent damage during transit
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery area

Skills

• Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required
• Experience with commercial driving or delivery driving is a plus
• Ability to operate box trucks and manual transmission vehicles
• Capability for heavy lifting and moving of goods (up to 50 pounds)
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently
• Experience using forklifts or pallet jacks is beneficial
• A valid driver's license is required; a clean driving record is preferred
