Duties
- Create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and gardening supplies with friendly, knowledgeable service
- Maintain the floral display area through merchandising, stocking, and organizing products to attract customers
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, handle cashing out, and process payments accurately
- Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and identifying plants through plant identification skills
- Provide expert advice on plant care, landscaping, lawn care, and outdoor maintenance to enhance customer satisfaction
- Support e-commerce operations by updating online product listings and processing online orders
Experience
- Previous experience in floral design or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of gardening practices, landscape maintenance, lawn care, and plant identification
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with retail math, cash handling, cashiering procedures, and POS systems to ensure smooth transactions
- Outdoor work experience demonstrating comfort working in various weather conditions and physical activity levels
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, merchandising displays, and floral arrangements efficiently
- Ability to engage with customers via phone communication or in person confidently and professionally
