Requirements of the First Responder Alumni Outreach Liaison
The First Responder Alumni Outreach Liaison assists the Director of Alumni Services, coordinates and plans activities, meetings and helps to oversee the daily coordination of alumni program.
This position is ideal for candidates seeking a full-time position
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a First Responder (required) (e.g., law enforcement, fire, EMS, military)
- Strong understanding of behavioral health, substance use, and recovery processes
- Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals in early recovery and post-treatment phases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Essential Job Function of the First Responder Alumni Outreach Liaison
- Maintain ongoing communication with alumni, providing support, engagement, and accountability
- Build relationships with First Responder alumni to support long-term recovery and connection
- Conduct regular outreach via calls, texts, and virtual/in-person check-ins
- Identify alumni needs and connect them with appropriate internal resources or services
- Collaborate with clinical and admissions teams to support continuity of care
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
Salary:
- $52,000 – $55,000 annually, based on experience
Full-time with flexibility to work one evening weekly and daytime shifts on weekends
