What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at The Flora Homes LLC?
We are currently hiring for DSP's to provide care to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are looking for people that are available Monday-Friday/Weekends. No experience needed, paid training provided. Must have high school diploma or GED. Must pass BCI and Drug screening upon hire. Walk-ins also currently accepted at this time between the hours of 9am-3pm Mon-Fri. We are located at 923 N. Limestone St. in Springfield, OH.

Duties include :
Assisting clients with daily personal tasks, including bathing and dressing
Completing housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes and tidying
Administration of medications and other health related tasks
Keeping proper documentation of med administration, clients daily routine, and implementation individual care plan
Shopping for groceries, making grocery lists, and preparing meals that meet specific client dietary needs
Encouraging client engagement in social networks and communities
Transport clients via company vehicle to community outings, social events, appointments, shopping, etc.
Reporting any instances of suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the appropriate authorities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
