Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas within the fitness facility, including workout floors, restrooms, and common areas
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, mats, and surfaces through regular disinfecting and wiping down
- Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep surfaces pristine and safe for use
- Handle custodial tasks related to trash removal, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper sanitation standards are met throughout the day
- Use commercial cleaning tools and supplies efficiently to uphold high standards of hygiene in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles, preferably within commercial or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices including floor care techniques such as buffing and polishing
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety protocols for facilities maintenance
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and detailed cleaning work
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining a clean environment
- Prior experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report maintenance needs promptly
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
