Prior restaurant or food service experience, especially in hospitality or food industry settings, is preferred. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. Knowledge of POS systems and technology, along with experience in guest relations will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their brunch experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld devices
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with setting up tables, bussing, and resetting for new guests as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems and process payments efficiently, if hostess is unavailable
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and assisting with sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and courteously
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in brunch settings
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance the guest experience
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy brunch hours
