Position Overview:
The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for managing all phases of litigation, from case assessment and strategy development through trial and resolution. This role requires a strong background in corporate and real estate law, as well as a proven ability to deliver favorable outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in corporate and real estate litigation matters, including contract disputes, partnership disputes, property issues, and business torts.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
- Manage discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare witnesses for trial.
- Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective case management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission and good standing in Georgia.
- Minimum of 3 years litigation experience with a focus on corporate and/or real estate law.
- Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and writing skills.
- Ability to handle cases independently and manage a diverse caseload.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of $130,000 – $175,000, commensurate with experience.
