Working Conditions: Part-Full Time 

Working Days: Variables

Hours per Day: 4 hours (min) Hours per Week: 20 (min) | 40 (max) 

Wage: $17/hr tips

Travel Required: No

Must commit to weekend shifts. Must maintain an average of four shifts minimum per week. 

Ideally can work weekends plus 3 weekdays within your availability.

The goal of the Dishwasher is to maintain a clean working environment for the back kitchen. You will be called on to do mild prep including but not limited to cutting, slicing, dicing, washing vegetables, marinating meats, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Wash and sanitize all dishes, tools, and equipment from both the cafe.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish and prep area at all times
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Take out trash, compost, and recycling, keeping back-of-house areas tidy and safe
• Restock supplies (paper goods, cleaning products, etc.)
• Follow all health and safety guidelines as per ServSafe regulations.

Nonessential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Training with employees

Supervisory Responsibilities : No

Decisions within Power: 

• Assess kitchen needs and create a self-starting task list

Prior Work Experience

• Customer Service experience preferred
• Food service experience preferred
• BOH kitchen experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Ability to learn and become proficient in the following applications: 
• Square POS
• Slack

Physical Demands

• Lifting of boxes between 5-30 pounds
• Working 4 hours on your feet
• Crouching, stooping, or kneeling to stock or retrieve inventory or clean
• Working in kitchen during warm/cold weather
• Fine gross motor skills
