Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall
- Construct, install, and repair frameworks and fixtures
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Install flooring, trim, molding, doors, windows, and cabinets
- Inspect work sites for safety and structural integrity
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Follow safety procedures and building codes
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to read blueprints
- Physical stamina and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Carpentry apprenticeship or technical training
- OSHA certification
- Residential or commercial construction experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and kneel for extended periods
- Lift up to specified weight requirements
Work Schedule
Day shift / Night shift / Weekends / Overtime as needed
