Job Title: Filta Operations Manager

Start Date: Immediately

Job Overview: The Filta Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing service efficiency, managing teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction across multiple locations. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of Filta’s services and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities And Qualifications

  • Managing Service Technicians
  • Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new technicians
  • Managing the technician training program as outlined within the training program manual and online videos. Additionally, responsible for supporting the lead technicians who will serve as trainers
  • Ensuring that all technicians follow the guidance and policies of PureRenew Plus in their fulfillment of their duties and tasks
  • Providing feedback, coaching, and performance reviews
  • Supporting with and communicating schedule changes
  • Troubleshooting issues with equipment or service locations
  • Monitors and ensures that all recorded information/data is correct and consistently entered (service notes, service records, and service recaps)
  • Coordinating logistics for Filta Clean service (multi-day projects)
  • Assisting in the cleaning of fryers as part of our FiltaFry service and in the deep cleaning of equipment as part of our FiltaClean service
  • Managing Warehouse Technicians
    • Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new warehouse technicians
    • Ensuring technicians follow equipment maintenance programs and schedules
    • Assisting in the repair, maintenance and in the deep cleaning of equipment and vehicles, and the coordination of these tasks
    • Ensuring technicians keep warehouse clean and stocked with necessary supplies
    • Collaboration with leadership:
      • Communicating with the owner regularly to provide updates/briefs on all service related items
      • Communicating with finance/scheduling as needed to ensure efficiencies


    The Requirements Of An Operations Manager

    As an Operations Manager, you may be required to engage in physical activity at various times throughout the week. It is a prerequisite of occupying the position that you be able to handle the following items should you need to:

    • Lift Seventy-Five (75) pounds from the ground to waist height
    • Handle hot cooking oil/food debris and other greases/fats
    • Operate a service vehicle/van
    • Work early in the morning or late in the evening
    • Have a flexible work schedule versus a set work schedule
    • Engage in technological processes such as service inputs, scheduling and communications
    • Come up with new ways and techniques to accomplish the tasks required of the position

    • Leadership & Team Management – Ability to coach, mentor, and oversee service technicians and support staff.
    • Operational Efficiency – Skilled in optimizing workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation to enhance service delivery.
    • Customer Relations & Service Quality – Ensures that all customer interactions are positive and that service standards are consistently met or exceeded.
    • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making – Proactively addresses operational challenges and implements effective solutions.
    • Safety & Compliance – Enforces strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Technical & Mechanical Knowledge – Familiarity with kitchen equipment, filtration systems, and service-related technology.
    • Financial & Budget Management – Ability to manage costs, improve efficiency, and drive profitability.
    • Knowledge of Commercial Kitchens or Ability to Learn Quickly – Understands kitchen operations and Filta’s role in enhancing sustainability and efficiency.
    • Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Transportation – Comfortable traveling to meet clients and conduct site visits in either a personal vehicle or commercial vehicle.


    Education/Experience:

    • Minimum associate's degree with significant relevant experience
    • Management or supervisor experience
    • Custodial, janitorial, or maintenance experience greatly valued
    • Chef/Sous-Chef or significant kitchen experience greatly valued


    Additional Information:

    • Training will be provided as needed to ensure you are well-equipped to perform your duties effectively.

Schedule:

  • Schedule will need to be flexible as we implement the company’s management structure


Compensation: Ranges from $65k-$75k per year

  • Gas card, vehicle maintenance paid for, work shoes and shirts provided


Location: The warehouse is in Woburn, MA but our three territories range from Andover, MA / Newburyport, MA in the north, down to Franklin, MA / Foxborough, MA in the south and as far west as Hopkinton, MA.
