Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Some light fryer cooking at times
- Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in mixology, and menu changes.
Skills
- Proven bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with food handling regulations and safe serving practices.
- Experience with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
