Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be crucial in enhancing the overall experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
• Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks. Some light fryer cooking at times
• Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends in mixology, and menu changes.

Skills

• Proven bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
• Familiarity with food handling regulations and safe serving practices.
• Experience with POS systems for processing orders and payments.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
