Fence Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fence Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of fencing systems, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise in carpentry, blueprint reading, and construction materials will help bring outdoor spaces to life while providing excellent service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse fence construction projects, utilizing your skills in building material installation, heavy lifting, and power tool operation.

Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute fence installation projects.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install fencing materials using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety protocols.
• Handle construction materials with care, including concrete forming, masonry, welding, and landscape maintenance as needed.
• Perform heavy lifting of fencing panels, posts, concrete blocks, and other materials to ensure proper placement and stability.
• Use blueprint reading skills to determine layout and positioning of fences according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met with professionalism and precision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in carpentry, frame carpentry, or general construction work with a focus on fence installation or outdoor projects.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings related to fencing and landscape projects.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, levels, as well as power tools including drills and welding equipment.
• Experience handling construction materials like concrete forms, masonry units, and building supplies for hardscape or masonry work.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites, power tool safety practices, and outdoor work conditions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during project completion.
• Valid experience working on construction site projects involving concrete finishing, landscape maintenance, or similar outdoor environments is preferred.
