Loader / Warehouse Associate
Skid Steer Experience Required | Full-Time
We're a family-owned farm, garden, and landscape supply store, and we take pride in what we do.
We're looking for someone who enjoys physical work, has experience operating a skid steer, and is comfortable working independently. Someone who moves with purpose, doesn't need to be micromanaged, and shows up every day ready to contribute.
Previous skid steer operating experience is mandatory for this position. We need someone who can safely and confidently operate this equipment without having to learn from scratch.

Here's the Job
You'll be moving product, operating equipment, loading customer vehicles, keeping the warehouse and yard organized, and supporting daily store operations. It is physical work, both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions. Some days are harder than others.
A significant portion of your day will be spent working independently in the warehouse. You need to be comfortable managing your own time, staying productive, and recognizing what needs to be done without someone constantly giving you instructions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating a skid steer to move, load, and organize materials
- Unloading deliveries and organizing products
- Keeping the warehouse, yard, and loading dock clean and organized
- Pulling and staging customer orders
- Loading customer vehicles
- Stocking the store
- Identifying and completing necessary tasks without being asked
- Working as part of a team that depends on you
What We're Looking For
- Required: Previous hands-on skid steer operating experience
- Forklift experience
- Someone who is comfortable working alone for extended periods
- Someone who can stay busy and productive without constant supervision
- Someone who shows up on time, every time
- Someone who moves quickly and works hard without being told to
- Someone who takes ownership — if you see something that needs doing, you do it
- Someone who is honest, dependable, and takes pride in doing things right
We care about your resume, but we care even more about your work ethic, character, and ability to work independently. All three will become obvious pretty quickly.
This Job Is Not For You If:
- You do not have experience operating a skid steer
- You need someone standing over you to stay busy
- You aren't comfortable spending much of your workday working independently in a warehouse
- You think three months is a long time to stay at a job
- You're not comfortable with hard physical work, heat, or lifting heavy materials
- You move slowly and don't intend to change that
- You're looking for something easy

- Starting pay: $17/hour, with opportunity to grow based on performance
- Full-time hours, with shifts scheduled during our operating hours of Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM, and Saturday, 7 AM–3 PM
