As an Assistant Mortgage Banker you will be an frontline member of one of the busiest teams in our Retail Mortgage division.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Mortgage Banker, serving as primary liaison among customers, internal operations support, realtors, and title companies
• Help manage Mortgage Banker pipeline while working with Processing, Underwriting, and Closing teams to ensure loans get closed in a timely manner
• Structure loans in Encompass loan origination system
• Review loan guidelines and analyze borrower qualifications
• Prepare mortgage applications and disclosures for signing
• Consistently exceed borrower and Realtor/Builder expectations, always giving "Wow!" service
• Marketing tasks to include maximizing the Mortgage Banker’s CRM and past client business
• Help organize events for the Bankers such as realtor luncheons

Requirements

Skills/Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred;
• Fluency in Spanish, both spoken and written required
• 1 years of experience as Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant or Processor
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrable ability to meet standards of professional communication
• Creative and proactive thinker
• Collaborative team spirit, positive attitude

Salary Description

$40,000 - $45,000 base salary plus bonus
