Responsibilities
Regulatory Counseling and Compliance
Manage niche regulatory counseling for cosmetics, food, and dietary supplement portfolios
Review product labels, claims, and advertising for FDA and FTC compliance
Assess marketing risks across websites, social media, and influencer collaborations
Evaluate alignment with NAD and Lanham Act standards for competitive claims
Convert technical and scientific data into defensible legal and regulatory advice
Responsibilities
Operational and Strategic Management
Navigate client matters from inception to resolution with high levels of autonomy
Prepare clients for FDA inspections and manage post-inspection inquiries or remediation
Monitor evolving FDA guidance and state-level trends, including MoCRA and CBD
Manage an existing portable book while integrating into firm-wide strategic goals
Collaborate with the Founder on cross-practice initiatives and high-stakes projects
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Over eight years of experience specializing in FDA regulatory and compliance law
Mastery of FDA, FTC, and NAD compliance standards for consumer products
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience within a Big Law environment coupled with a boutique mindset is a plus
A portable book of business representing approximately 40% of total capacity
Specialized expertise in any of the FDA, FTC, USDA, EPA, CBD, hemp, or emerging state-level regulatory trends
Proficiency with promotional review workflow software and adverse event reporting systems
Experience establishing safety substantiation frameworks for cosmetic products and navigating FDA databases and resources to identify predicate devices and support substantial equivalence determinations

Work Environment & Schedule
Work is primarily performed onsite at our professional office in Atlanta, Georgia
Standard business hours are expected with flexibility for client and travel needs
Collaboration occurs through direct interaction with the Founder and support staff
Travel may be required for client site visits or regulatory inspections
