The Fawn Society is a new baby and toddler boutique in Cannon Beach, Oregon, offering thoughtfully curated clothing, plush, accessories, toys, gifts, and everyday essentials for little ones and their grown-ups. Our shop is rooted in a coastal, natural, and slightly wild approach to childhood. Warm, welcoming, and beautifully curated without feeling too fussy.

We are looking for a kind, reliable, and nurturing Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping families, connecting with customers, keeping a shop beautiful and organized, and creating a calm, friendly shopping experience for parents, grandparents, visitors, and little ones.

This is a permanent, non-seasonal position, with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.

What You’ll Do

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will help create the everyday experience of The Fawn Society. Responsibilities include:

• Welcoming customers warmly and offering helpful, genuine service
• Assisting parents, grandparents, and gift-givers with product recommendations
• Helping customers choose baby gifts, toddler apparel, toys, accessories, and essentials
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, stocked, and visually beautiful
• Restocking product, folding clothing, sizing racks, and maintaining displays
• Processing sales, returns, and exchanges through the POS system
• Receiving, tagging, steaming, and merchandising new inventory
• Learning product details so you can confidently answer customer questions
• Supporting a calm and positive environment, especially for families shopping with young children
• Taking initiative during slower moments to tidy, restock, or improve the shop experience

• Excited about children’s goods, gifting, apparel, and thoughtful retail
• Professional, kind, and calm under pressure
• Available to work weekends

Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful, but the right personality, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important.

Schedule

We are hiring for both:

• Part-time
• Full-time

This is a year-round, permanent role, not a seasonal position. Weekend availability is required, and additional availability during holidays, summer, and busy Cannon Beach weekends is appreciated.
