Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation systems
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while explaining daily specials and beverage options
- Clear tables efficiently, bus tables to maintain cleanliness, and reset for incoming guests following sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and communicate any guest needs or concerns effectively
Skills
- Proven experience in food service roles host/hostess or busser within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to manage multiple tables or tasks simultaneously through effective time management and organization skills
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedure
- Food handlers required for both positions, host/hostess will also require responsible alcohol certification.
