Gilliatte General Contractors is seeking Qualified Candidate to join our team as a full time Plan Room Technician. As our Plan Room Technician, you will be setting up our new construction projects for bidding and working with our team on Job bids, plans and on the project files.

Requirements

Your responsibilities will include:

• A current Knowledge of Sitefolio, ePlanroom, Eastern Engineering, Build, etc.
• You will post new projects for bidding
• Printing Project plans and specifications for project managers and subcontractors
• Scanning drawing sheets for Project Managers
• You will create Dropbox links to send larger files through e-mail
• You will need the ability to convert files to Plangrid and other servers
• You will be posting revised plans to FTP, Hosted FTP, Plangrid and Build
• You will answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems
• You will be managing and updating the bid board, bid sets, specs and all revisions given to the plan room
• You will maintain the operations of our Wide Format Printer
• You will deliver job bids and record bid numbers at public openings
  
  

Knowledge And Physical Requirements

• Attention to detail
• Great written and verbal communication skills with excellent composition and grammar skills.
• The ability to communicate with our office staff including our owners, Project managers, office admins, etc.
• Standing, Sitting, and occasional Driving.
• The ability to use computers for long periods of time and read a computer monitor; inputting information.
• Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
• The ability to assess customer needs assessment, and the evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• A Valid Driver’s License is required along with the ability to pass an MVR.
