Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient part-time Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
Pay:
This is a tipped position, base rate is $14.25 an hour plus tips.
Total Average Earnings estimated depending on hours & schedule worked.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dish area, including floors, countertops, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring that all food handling guidelines are followed.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Remove trash and maintain waste disposal areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies to ensure a clean working environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
