Description:
Customer Service Representative is the point of contact and technical resource for customer inquiries and issues. They are responsible for determining customers' needs and providing solutions with prompt, courteous and professional service with regards to their banking requirements and educating customers on bank's product and service options and issues. This person will respond to customer inquiries, complaints and comments on a daily based on customer needs and requests, in accordance with the bank's offerings and services.
Requirements:
1. Open/Close all accounts and services offered.
2. Provide navigational assistance with Internet Banking products and answer questions/problems.
3. Input computer information for all new accounts, including and completes all other necessary paperwork relating to these accounts.
4. Ensure departmental and Bank compliance with policies and procedures.
5. Order supplies and materials for Customer Service department and ensure sufficient inventory for items.
6. Research and resolve service related requests and assists customers with problems in regards to balancing, overdrafts, errors, and customer complaints, often acting as the customer liaison between other bank departments when necessary.
7. Process tasks outlined in Customer Service Task list and transactions and routine account-related requests, that may include but are not limited to: changes to existing accounts, change of address, change of name, deposits and withdrawals, transfers between accounts, process check orders, wire transfers and any additional services.
8. Exercise judgement and maintain privacy and confidentiality of all account and personally identifying information and security of this information.
9. Duties may include basic teller transactions and cash handling for individual and business.
10.Issue and file maintenance debit cars and ATM cards. Understand execute Regulations E, Electronic Funds Transfer Act, and debit card error resolution and unauthorized debits on customers' accounts.
11. Understand the basics of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's) and be able to counsel customers and prospective customers on the issue and maintained of this type of account.
12. May be assigned and or required to do other duties and special tasks as needed.
13. Maintain organized office and desk area for use by you and others, if needed.
