Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with accuracy and friendliness
- Operate the Square POS system to process sales efficiently and accurately
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent service and answering questions about menu items and some of the fun features of our farm.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café.
- Handle cash transactions, perform basic math calculations, and manage cash handling duties with accuracy.
- Assist with food handling, food prep, and serving food items in accordance with safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee or food service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Square POS is a plus!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume shifts
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic retail math principles
- Experience in the food industry or café environment is a plus, but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

- What does your availability look like in relation to our hours? We are open Weds-Fri: 7:30AM-4PM Sat & Sun: 8AM-4PM. Openers come in 30 minutes early and closers leave by 5.
