Job Title: Farm Production Associate
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Compensation: $21–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience
Schedule: Year-round, full-time seasonal variation (lighter in winter, heavier in summer)
About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Farm Production Associate to join our small and nimble team in producing high-quality, regeneratively grown food for our on-farm store and local markets. This position offers hands-on agricultural work in a meaningful, purpose-driven environment—with opportunities for growth within our nonprofit organization.
You’ll be working year-round, with intensive fieldwork in the summer and reduced hours in the winter, supporting our mission to grow food in harmony with the land and our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in all aspects of farm production, including:
- Soil preparation, planting, cultivation, and harvesting
- Post-harvest washing, packing, and organizing produce for sale
- Care of tools, equipment, and infrastructure
- Support maintenance of regenerative growing practices and systems
- Support Livestock operations and animal husbandry of our educational animals
- Assist with on-site farm store and prep for local markets
- Work closely with a small team on day-to-day operations and occasional cross-departmental tasks
- Adapt to shifting priorities as part of a diverse nonprofit organization

- A strong work ethic, grit, and willingness to work physically in all types of weather
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive team mindset
- Previous farming or production experience is strongly preferred, but not required
- Ability to take direction, work independently, and stay motivated
- Enthusiasm for local food, sustainability, and regenerative agriculture
- Comfort with a diverse range of responsibilities in a flexible, collaborative team environment

Compensation & Schedule:

- Year-round employment with seasonal variation in hours
- Preferred scheduled includes weekend work, with 2 weekdays off, but negotiable
