Are you passionate about fresh food, great coffee, and creating a welcoming customer experience? We're looking for a friendly, dependable team member to join our farm-to-table café.
Position: Farm-to-Table Cashier (Cross-Trained)
As the first face our customers see, you'll provide exceptional service while helping support multiple areas of our café. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, learning new skills, and working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking to fill a weekday and a weekend position. We are open for breakfast and lunch everyday but Tuesday.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a warm, positive attitude.
- Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
- Answer questions about our locally sourced products and menu.
- Cross-train and assist at the barista station, preparing coffee and espresso beverages.
- Help prepare sandwiches and light café items on the sandwich line.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
- Restock products and assist with daily opening and closing duties.
- Work as part of a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Food service, café, or retail experience is preferred but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
