bartender / server

Job Overview
The Farm Bar and Grille is currently looking for a bartender / server for our holiday season. This position would be guaranteed shifts with event bartending to kick things up a notch. We will also be opening a sister restaurant down the street that will have plenty of hours to fill also. Come work for a company with room for growth and great team focused employees.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dining space, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cashiering protocols.
• Assist with banquet services and catering events as needed, ensuring all guest needs are met promptly.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality in food service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Utilize basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.

Experience

• Previous experience in a bartending or serving role within a bar / restaurant environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including toast pos
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
