Key Responsibilities
PROGRAM SUPERVISION:
- Provides direct supervision for the Program Director of the Southern Dallas Counseling Center, PD for Central Dallas Counseling Center, PD for the Collin County Counseling Center and the Program Director for Housing and Stability Services.
- Provides management for the daily operations of the Clinical Services Department and supervises director level staff and provides oversight for all Non-Residential staff, including interviewing, hiring and evaluating job performance.
- Provides regular individual and team supervision to staff.
- Manages concerns relating to staffing, scheduling, productivity, customer service skills and workload expectations.
- Provides administrative support, supervision, training, and consultation to support and broaden staff skill levels.
- Collaborates with the Director of Intake and Assessment to set standards for intake and assessment practices for non-residential clients.
- Works closely with all the community collaboration programs to coordinate services to clients.
- Provides crisis support to clients as needed.
- Develops and maintains policies and procedures to ensure quality services for clients and accountability of staff.
- Ensures that Program Directors are trained and informed of all procedural requirements.
- Works with Program Directors to ensure that the programs are successfully meeting all funding contract objectives.
- Provides management of the daily operations of all counseling centers and supervises Program Directors, including interviewing, hiring and evaluating job performance.
- Works with Program Directors to ensure utilization rates are on target and within the program standards.
- Reviews client surveys statistics and feedback from programs to ensure satisfaction rates are above 90%.
- Provides on-going assessment and evaluation of non-residential programs to ensure that client needs, agency standards and funding requirements are met; uses outcome data to manage staff and program performance.
- Ensures accurate and up to date documentation, client files, and statistics as required by agency policies and funding sources.
- Prioritizes the best use of evidence-based practices, including researching programming trends and current practices being used in other similar service providers; monitors trends and makes informed decisions regarding service provisions.
- Assists in preparing and managing approved program budget.
- Reviews the need for group and individual contractors and ensures contracts, grant requirements and budgets are managed and maintained.
- Identifies and implements strategies to develop new program opportunities.
- Works with the Program Directors to develop, implement and monitor a marketing strategy to broaden the counseling offices visibility within the communities. This plan should include community education, training and participation in relevant community meetings and coordination with the Development Department for marketing collateral.
- Collaborates with Manager, Employee Learning and Development to ensure training programs fulfill needs of non-residential staff.
- Participates in weekly, monthly, and annual employee and staff meetings and trainings.
- Maintains current professional knowledge of crisis intervention, case management and counseling for domestic violence victims; keeps up to date information for community resources available to clients.
