Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Revenue Ownership
- Develop and execute a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals and mission priorities.
- Own total non-event revenue performance, including individual, corporate, and in-kind giving, with accountability for goals and forecasting.
- Establish clear performance metrics and reporting structures to track progress and inform decisions.
- Ensure revenue diversification to support long-term organizational sustainability.
- Personally manage a portfolio of major donors and prospects, leading cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Partner with the CEO and Board on strategy and relationship advancement for top-tier donors.
- Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline focused on new and growing revenue relationships.
- Identify, pursue, and close corporate partnerships that align with organizational values and revenue goals.
- Develop strategies to grow in-kind contributions as a meaningful part of the overall fundraising portfolio.
- Lead and manage the fundraising team, establishing clear roles, goals, and accountability structures.
- Foster a team culture grounded in ownership, responsiveness, and donor-centered engagement.
- Provide ongoing coaching, professional development, and performance management.
- Ensure effective use of CRM systems to support donor tracking, pipeline management, and reporting accuracy.
- Use data and reporting to drive strategy, measure performance, and communicate results to leadership.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO on fundraising performance, pipeline, and donor engagement.
- Partner with the Board and Development Committee to support external fundraising efforts and stakeholder engagement.
- Prepare and present regular updates on revenue performance, forecasting, and strategic priorities.
