Key Responsibilities
Grant Strategy & Opportunity Development
- Identify, review, and evaluate grant opportunities for mission alignment and funding viability.
- Lead internal strategy meetings to determine pursuit decisions and proposal direction.
- Maintain an active grants pipeline and calendar of funding opportunities.
- Serve as internal subject matter expert on funder priorities and requirements.
- Lead development of grant narratives, program descriptions, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with program leadership to translate service delivery into fundable outcomes.
- Partner with Finance to ensure budgets align with program plans and funder requirements.
- Coordinate with Grants Associate on formatting, document assembly, and submission logistics.
- Serve as primary relationship manager for assigned funders.
- Maintain consistent communication and stewardship throughout the grant lifecycle.
- Represent the organization in meetings, site visits, and funder check-ins.
- Support internal award rollout and ensure clarity of deliverables and timelines.
- Monitor grant requirements and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure progress.
- Maintain documentation and track milestones, amendments, and communications.
- Complete programmatic grant reports and outcome narratives.
- Gather and synthesize data from program teams to demonstrate impact.
- Coordinate with Finance on financial reporting requirements and submission timelines.
- Ensure all reporting deadlines are met and funder expectations are exceeded.
