Finance Manager

The Family Place Utah is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization striving to achieve its mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children in Rich, Franklin and Cache Counties through therapy, education, and 24-hour Kids Place care and shelter services.

What You’ll Do:
- Oversee all accounting functions (payroll, AP, AR, reconciliations, general ledger)
- Work closely with the Executive Director and Leadership Team to develop program, department, and grant budgets
- Present financial reports to the Board Treasurer and Board of Directors
- Lead the accounting team, including onsite financial operations at our annual Blue Ribbon Benefit
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, grant requirements, and audit readiness
- Provide data-driven insights to guide strategic and programmatic decisions
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (CPA or nonprofit finance experience a plus)
- 5 years of accounting/finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, payroll, AP, and AR
- Knowledge of nonprofit GAAP, grant tracking, and donor fund management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
