The Family Partnership was founded in 1878 as the Minneapolis Humane Society to protect and serve children that were being abused or exploited. Along with a few name changes, our work has continually transformed to anticipate and address the evolving needs of families and individuals, many of whom are the most vulnerable in our community. Wages and Benefits $50,000 - $60,000 annual salary range; employee benefits include: $1,000 hiring bonus after 3 months of employment; Generous paid time off, plus 10 paid holidays; competitive health, dental, and vision insurance; health savings account (HSA), and options for flexible spending accounts (FSA). There is employer paid basic life insurance with the option for additional coverage paid by the employee. The employer pays for Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) and short and long-term disability insurance. TFP sponsors a retirement plan with a tiered vesting schedule based on years of service, plus a 2% employer contribution after one year of service. Additionally, TFP offers a yearly $100 training stipend and reimbursement for therapy supplies. Schedule The Family Partnership is looking to hire 4 School Linked Mental Health Therapists to work part-time (18.75 hours or more per week) or full-time hours (37.5 hours per week). Therapy services are provided in Richfield, Minneapolis, and Brooklyn Center, as well as in TFP s Outpatient Clinics. A Typical Day in the Life A typical day as a School Linked Mental Health Therapist provides an opportunity to offer high quality, trauma-informed care to support individuals and families in the community. Responsibilities will include the following: Conducting diagnostic assessments. Developing treatment plans. Providing therapy informed by evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care. Referring, advocating for, and following up with clients in need of additional community support and services. Engaging in and utilizing supervision and consultation and participating in weekly multi-disciplinary team meetings. Monitoring client fees and balances. Keeping client reports and records up to date. Providing therapy services to approximately 25 clients per week. Who You Are You hold a Master s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling or a related field from an accredited school, including clinical course work and a clinical practicum. You are licensed in the state of Minnesota, as an LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP; or on a licensure track, LGSW, LAMFT, LPC, MA. You have previous experience working with low-income communities, BIPOC, LGBTQIA and other oppressed, marginalized, and/or vulnerable populations. You have the ability and/or interest in working with individuals, children, couples, groups and/or family treatment modalities. Fluency in English and another language is preferred. You have a valid driver s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet TFP s driving record requirements. Pl ase note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state).
