Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support the development and well-being of infants and toddlers by creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development, including sensory play, motor skills, and social interaction.
  • Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, dressing, and comforting as needed.
  • Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Observe and document each infant’s progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform individualized care plans.
  • Engage with children through playful interaction, storytelling, singing, and other nurturing activities that stimulate cognitive and emotional growth.
  • Follow all health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure environment for infants at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that fosters trust and curiosity.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for infant care.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
  • Ability to manage classroom routines with patience, flexibility, and positive behavior management techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
