About the Role
We’re searching for someone who loves cooking the Southern way — hearty breakfasts, homestyle lunches, and meals made with care. This role is all about preparing quality food, keeping a clean kitchen, and helping us create an experience that feels like home for everyone who walks through our doors.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook meals following Family Diner recipes and standards.
- Help plan daily specials that keep our menu fresh and exciting.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Work alongside our kitchen team to ensure smooth service and satisfied guests.
- Handle food with care, following all safety and health regulations.
- Assist with catering and special events when needed.
- Bring creativity, teamwork, and pride to every plate you serve.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred — but we’ll train the right person with a good attitude.
- Solid cooking skills and a love for Southern comfort food.
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.
- Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, family-style environment.
- Good communication and a willingness to lend a hand wherever needed.
