Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes or commercial facilities, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Use various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, pressure washers, and hand tools to achieve optimal results
- Handle outdoor cleaning tasks like pressure washing building exteriors, outdoor furniture, and walkways
- Safely operate ladders for high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to ladder use safety protocols
- Conduct duct cleaning and heavy lifting tasks with proper manual handling techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Utilize industrial cleaning supplies and equipment for deep cleaning projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of all cleaning tools and equipment; perform routine inspections and proper storage after use
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of fire extinguishers when necessary, and adhere to all safety protocol guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients and addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods, pressure washing techniques, and outdoor work experience is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to ladder use, PPE, fire extinguishers, and other safety equipment is highly valued
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Has at least 2 years of professional or paid cleaning experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- The applicant needs to have their own cleaning supplies and equipment.
- The applicant needs to have their own vehicle for transportation.
