About the Role
Fairfield National Bank is seeking a dedicated Financial Advisor to join our FNB Financial division. In this role, you will administer investment accounts, execute buy and sell orders for stocks, bonds, and securities, and provide comprehensive financial planning services to our clients. You’ll play a key part in developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients in all aspects of financial planning.
- Execute buy and sell orders for stocks, municipal and corporate bonds and government and federal agencies securities, and other approved securities.
- Develop new business and maintain effective contact with customers.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
- Maintain consistency with operating objectives and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong management, planning, and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Required licenses: FINRA SIE, Series 7, Series 66, Illinois Life and Health Insurance License.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field strongly preferred.
Physical & Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching; ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds.
- Professional office environment with standard equipment and moderate noise level.
Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated beginning base annual salary range for this position is $50,000-75,000. The base salary will be determined by factors including but not limited to experience, credentials, education, certifications, and skill level required for the position. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Incentive or commission-based compensation may be added in the future.
