Job Summary
At The Facility, the mission is simple: build faster, more explosive athletes.
Our system is built on a BioTensegrity-based training approach, focusing on force production, elastic energy, and efficient movement transfer.
We are hiring a Speed & Strength Coach who can improve real performance metrics—not just run workouts.
What You’ll Do
- Design and coach training that improves:
- 10-yard acceleration
- Explosive power (vertical, broad, RSI)
- Rate of Force Development (RFD)
- Rotational performance
- Run high-level training sessions
- Sprint work (timed and coached)
- Plyometrics (progressed, not random)
- Strength training tied to performance
- Med ball / rotational power work
- Assess athletes and identify:
- Movement inefficiencies
- Force production gaps
- Energy leaks in sequencing
- Track performance data and adjust training accordingly
What Matters (Qualifications)
- Proven experience coaching speed, strength, or athletic performance
- Strong understanding of:
- Sprint mechanics
- Jump/plyometric development
- Force production and power
- Ability to coach with energy and precision in a group setting
- Strong communication and presence
Preferred (not required):
- CSCS or similar certification
- Experience with timing systems, jump testing, or bar velocity tools
- Background with baseball/softball athletes
