Optometrist - Private Practice - No Weekends!

The Eye Place is a well-established, private optometric practice in an upscale suburb of Richmond, VA. We seek an associate optometrist to join our team starting immediately after credentialing.

We offer competitive wages and smart benefits including license fees, malpractice insurance, CE Allowance, 401K with matching, profit sharing, and 3 weeks PTO. W-2 compensation is expected to exceed $170,000. Additional benefits total $15,000-$30,000. Patient care hours are 10-7 Monday through Thursday and 10-6 on Fridays. If you want to split a shift with another OD, we're open to that.

The ideal candidate must be an exceptional communicator with a passion for service and a love for interacting with people. The optometrist must be able to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.

The office is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure delivery of the best eye care available in today’s market. The practice carries a wide selection of eyeglass frames and lenses, and contact lens options including medically necessary lenses. Our professional eye doctors perform ocular health examinations including detecting and managing eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye treatment, diabetic eye care, myopia management, and much more.
