What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transporter position at The Eye Clinic of Florida?
We are hiring for a part time position!
The job is one day a week—every Tuesday.
The job is to transport patients to and from the OR in our eye and eyelid surgery center. This would involve walking (or pushing a stretcher/wheelchair) a very short distance, prepping the patient’s face, & giving instructions to the patient before the eye surgeon enters the room.
Must be reliable and able to be here every Tuesday.
Must be a non-smoker with no criminal record and be drug free (we test)
Must be able to push a wheelchair/stretcher.
Must be willing to learn & able to effectively communicate with patients. Bilingual not required but would be very helpful.
