What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician/Optician position at The Eye Center of Parkville?
The Eye Center of Parkville is seeking a motivated Optometric Technician/Optician to join our team. Potential candidates must love working with people, be a team player, provide outstanding customer service, have the ability to multitask while paying close attention to detail and be effective in communicating with patients and colleagues. Potential candidates will be joining a friendly, progressive, upscale private practice specializing in comprehensive eye exams for all ages, contact lenses, and premium designer eyewear.
Position will include:
-working knowledge of most vision insurance plans and EHR
-operating optical diagnostic equipment
-collecting patient history and entering all information into EHR
-education, training and ordering of contact lenses
-recommending specific eyewear, taking measurements, fit and adjust glasses
-providing outstanding customer service with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance

This position will include weekdays and rotating Saturdays 9-1
