Manage Trade Show Success As a Field Operations Manager

Are you ready to oversee dynamic trade show operations and lead teams to success? The Expo Group is seeking a Field Operations Manager to ensure seamless execution of trade shows and events. This on-site role, based in our Las Vegas Office, involves managing labor, equipment, and logistics at show sites, with travel required up to 50% of the time. If you’re experienced in the trade show industry and excel at managing operations, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

• Lead on-site operations during events to meet timelines and client expectations.
• Manage union labor, including scheduling and supervision, to ensure efficient show execution.
• Create and review labor budgets, attending finance meetings to align with projections.
• Coordinate equipment needs, including reservations and confirmations.
• Verify event logistics, such as move-in/out schedules, with project managers.
• Manage transportation schedules for event equipment in collaboration with warehouse teams.
• Represent The Expo Group at client and internal meetings to resolve operational challenges.
• Process work orders and payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  
  
  

What You Bring to The Expo Group:

• Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: 4-5 years in tradeshow operations with expertise in venue coordination, freight logistics, and floor plan management.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn internal systems like Expo Cube and CoPro.
• Skills:
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency with forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts is a plus.
