Position Overview

The Experience Group is seeking an enthusiastic, polished, and service-oriented Seasonal Part-Time Luxury Concierge to join our team at 900 North Michigan Shops, one of Chicago's premier luxury shopping destinations along the Magnificent Mile.

As a Concierge, you will serve as a welcoming ambassador for the property, delivering exceptional guest service and personalized assistance to shoppers, visitors, and tenants.

This position is ideal for someone with a background in luxury retail, boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, or premium hospitality who enjoys connecting with people and creating memorable guest experiences.

During the busy holiday shopping season, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Concierge Services

• Provide a warm, professional, and welcoming experience to all guests.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource for shopping, dining, entertainment, and attractions within the property and surrounding Chicago area.
• Assist guests with directions, retailer information, restaurant recommendations, transportation, and general concierge inquiries.
• Deliver personalized service, anticipate guest needs, and create memorable experiences.
• Maintain a polished, professional, and approachable presence at the concierge desk.

Retail & Property Support

• Maintain knowledge of property retailers, restaurants, amenities, and seasonal promotions.
• Promote property events, holiday activations, and special experiences to guests.
• Support guest engagement initiatives and help drive awareness of retailers and property offerings.
• Assist with guest inquiries and special requests, coordinating with property management and retailers as needed.
• Collaborate with property management, security, and other building teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Holiday & Seasonal Support

• Provide additional guest service support during the busy holiday shopping season.
• Assist with holiday events, promotions, and seasonal activations.
• Help create a festive and welcoming atmosphere while maintaining luxury service standards.
• Assist with wayfinding, guest inquiries, and increased visitor traffic during peak shopping periods.

Daily Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming concierge desk.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally.
• Communicate guest feedback, service concerns, and operational updates to management.
• Follow established concierge procedures, service standards, and property policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in luxury retail, boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, premium retail brands, concierge services, or hospitality preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Friendly, outgoing, and approachable personality.
• Professional appearance and polished demeanor appropriate for a luxury retail environment.
• Strong knowledge of Chicago's shopping, dining, entertainment, and local attractions, or a willingness to learn.
• Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain composed in a busy environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using computers, email, and basic office technology.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while performing guest service duties, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.

Schedule & Availability

This is a temporary, seasonal part-time position beginning in November 2026 and continuing through the end of December 2026.

• Approximately 10–15 hours per week, depending on business needs.
• Weekday availability is required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed during the holiday shopping season.
• Scheduling will vary based on property needs, holiday events, and peak shopping periods.
