Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Therapist located in the Lafayette, Indiana Metropolitan Area, (or willing to travel) with flexibility for work-from-home hours. The Therapist will be responsible for conducting individual, group, and couples therapy sessions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate client records. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality, client-centered care and participating in professional development opportunities to stay updated on mental health practices and approaches. As part of creating a supportive environment, the Therapist will also engage in building trust with clients and fostering their emotional and mental well-being. Associate licensed clinicians (LSW, LMHC-A) accepted and supervision towards licensure is provided.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
- Licensure: Current Indiana state licensure (LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC). Provisional licensees (LSW, LMHC-A) are encouraged to apply; we provide expert clinical supervision toward independent licensure.
- Competency in individual, group, and family therapy approaches
- Experience with developing and executing personalized treatment plans
- Strong skills in client assessment, monitoring progress, and maintaining detailed records
- Knowledge of ethical and anti-oppressive practices in mental health care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and foster a supportive client relationship
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Experience with trauma-informed care, mental health education, and community engagement is a plus
- Proficiency in self-care practices to promote personal and professional resilience
- Ideal candidate is interested in working with the adult population, though willingness to work with teens and elderly is a bonus.
- Therapist with experience and willingness to conduct couples/relationship therapy is a bonus.
- Interest in sex-therapy and trauma therapy experience preferred
- Ethical Framework: A deep understanding of how systemic biases impact mental health and a commitment to practicing from a decolonized, inclusive perspective.
