Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Assisted Stretch / Exercise Coach role based in Franklin, TN. The coach will guide clients through safe, effective assisted stretching and brief, supervised exercise sessions using The Exercise Coach® protocols and technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting clients, explaining session objectives, setting up and adjusting equipment, and providing hands-on stretch support within established safety and comfort guidelines. The coach will monitor client form and intensity, track progress using studio systems, and communicate clearly about goals, modifications, and next steps. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized studio environment, following all safety and sanitation procedures, and collaborating with the studio team to deliver consistent, high-quality client experiences.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of exercise science or kinesiology and an interest in assisted stretching or corrective exercise.
- Ability to safely provide hands-on stretching, monitor client movement, and follow structured training protocols.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer-service skills for working with diverse clients and fitness levels.
- Comfort using technology and studio systems to follow data-driven workout plans and record client progress.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Willingness to learn The Exercise Coach® methods through provided training; prior coaching, personal training, or group fitness experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, move, and assist clients throughout sessions, including occasional light lifting or equipment adjustments.
- CPR/AED certification and/or relevant fitness or wellness certifications are preferred.
