Job Summary: Foreman
Location: Bushwick, NY (Brooklyn)
Overview
The role of Foreman is a detail-oriented position, with a vast array of tasks, duties and responsibilities. Foremost is the managing and directing of the field labor staff through the daily operations of The Evergreens. As Foreman, you assist and represent the President of The Evergreens Cemetery.

Responsibilities
- Organize the tasks for the day and delegate assignments for the workforce.
- Oversee, manage and verify the completion of all jobs.
- Conduct daily briefings for the President and office staff.
- Identify and mark locations of upcoming burials for the Interment Team.
- Assess and process incoming work orders.
- Coordinate burial processions and ceremonies.
- Contact vendors for required services, maintenance and equipment purchases.
- Assist the Family Service Counselor with sales.
- Develop new areas for potential burial sites.
Candidate Requirements
- 3 years of management experience is mandatory: cemetery or construction is an advantage.
- Proficiency with computers and technology.
- Adaptability: you will be required to learn and advance your knowledge base.
- Language Skills: must be fluent in English, bilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Must have and maintain a positive attendance and punctuality record.
- Provide three (3) work experience references.
