Lead Event Delivery Driver

Pay Range $16-$23

The Event Co is looking for reliable team players to join us as Lead Delivery Drivers!

This awesome role involves safely transporting goods to and from different locations and setting up events as needed.

Job purpose

We are seeking customer service-oriented drivers to join our team. Full-time and part-time positions are available, and weekend availability is required.

Duties and responsibilities

• Transport, deliver, and pick up event rental equipment
• Install & break down event rental equipment
• Can take lead and give direction to Event hands on loading/unloading truck
• Provide excellent customer service
• Verify order accuracy
• Load and unload items from the vehicle using proper equipment such as pallet jacks
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• Weekday warehouse work including: cleaning, maintenance, and preparation for the following weekend

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be available to work weekends, early mornings, and/or late nights

Skills & Characteristics

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
• Prior experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation systems
• Positive attitude and team player
• Possess great attention to detail
• Trustworthy and respectful
• Able to Hook up and back trailers up safely
• Hardworking, punctual and responsible
• Good communicator

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
