Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a private club, hotel, spa, fine dining, hospitality, or other high-touch service environment preferred.
• Previous experience providing personalized service to members, guests, or customers preferred.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Provide attentive, personalized, and discreet service to Club members and their guests while maintaining a clean, comfortable, welcoming, and impeccably presented Ladies Locker Room. Anticipate and respond to member needs, provide requested personal services and amenities, and ensure the locker room and its facilities consistently reflect the high standards of the Club.

Job Tasks/Duties

• Welcomes and acknowledges members and guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner, creating a warm and inviting locker room experience.
• Anticipates the needs of members and guests and proactively provides assistance, amenities, and services whenever possible.
• Issues lockers, keys, towels, and other amenities to members and guests as needed.
• Maintains accurate records of occupied lockers.
• Safeguards members' and guests' personal property and handles all belongings with care, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Provides personalized services such as shining golf shoes, brushing clothing, and replacing golf shoe spikes.
• Assists members with requests and special needs in a timely and professional manner.
• Serves beverages and food to members and guests while maintaining a clean and organized service area.
• Maintains coffee, beverages, and related supplies; prepares coffee and refreshes the beverage area as needed.
• Takes and delivers phone messages for members and guests promptly and accurately.
• Maintains a consistently clean, orderly, and well-presented locker room, restrooms, showers, vanity areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Cleans restroom floors, mirrors, walls, basins, lavatories, showers, and other areas as assigned.
• Cleans and empties wastebaskets and garbage receptacles throughout the locker room.
• Restocks towels and amenities, including tissue, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, razors, after-shave products, and other member supplies.
• Restocks other restrooms on Club property.
• Monitors inventory levels and communicates supply needs to the Locker Room Manager to ensure members and guests have access to necessary amenities.
• Transports towels to and from the laundry area and maintains an adequate supply of clean towels throughout the day.
• Cleans and maintains the hot tub, sauna area, and other special facilities and equipment within the locker room according to Club standards.
• Identifies maintenance, repair, safety, or facility concerns and promptly communicates them to the appropriate manager or department.
• Maintains awareness of the overall locker room environment and promptly addresses anything that may detract from the member experience.
• Responds appropriately to member concerns or requests and seeks assistance from the Locker Room Manager when necessary.
• Maintains a high level of discretion when interacting with members and guests and respects their privacy at all times.
• Attends staff meetings and required training sessions.
• Works cooperatively with other Club departments to provide a seamless and elevated experience for members and their guests.
• Performs other duties and assignments as directed by the Locker Room Manager.

• Able to maintain confidentiality regarding members, guests, and their personal information.
• Experience caring for and restoring athletic shoes and golf shoes preferred.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor consistent with Club standards.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Able to meet and perform the physical requirements of the position and work effectively in an environment typical of a private country club locker room.
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, reaching, pulling, and repetitive motions.
• Able to lift, pull, or push up to 30 pounds.
• May work in areas with varying temperatures, including locker rooms, showers, hot tubs, and sauna areas.
• Able to safely perform cleaning, stocking, laundry, and other physical duties required to maintain the locker room to Club standards.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
