Facility Maintenance At The Esquire Hotel Downtown Gastonia

The Esquire Hotel is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team! The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and overall maintenance of the hotel's facilities and equipment. This role involves performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep the hotel in top condition for guests and staff.

This position is Monday-Friday but may require occasional weekends.

General Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on hotel facilities, including electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Repair or replace faulty equipment, light fixtures, furniture, doors, windows, and other hotel assets.
• Respond to maintenance requests from hotel staff or guests in a timely manner.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel property to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical systems, such as air conditioning units, boilers, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

Property Upkeep:

• Keep the hotel’s interior and exterior in good condition, including grounds maintenance and landscaping as needed.
• Perform touch-up painting, patch drywall, and other cosmetic repairs to maintain the hotel’s appearance.

Other Duties:

• Assist other departments as needed, especially during emergencies or special events.
• Support hotel operations by ensuring all maintenance work is performed efficiently and with minimal disruption to guests.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
