Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Direct Leader: Senior Director of Finance
Job Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key contributor and subject matter expert for financial and analytical intel. They are
responsible for driving the budget process, financial modeling, forecasting and financial analysis tasks for The Escape
Game. This position will assist with the development and implementation of financial and operational reporting as well
as analytic tools and systems. The scope also includes providing analytic insight into operational variances and help
drive company performance through the development of strategic partnerships with other TEG functions. We are
looking for a self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving mentality.
Hours & Schedule:
Travel Expectations: 0-10%
Expected Schedule: Monday - Friday (deadline exceptions as necessary)
Location: In The Escape Game’s Brentwood, TN Office
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
Experience & Qualifications:
5 years of professional work experience required
5 years of experience in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
Data-driven, goal-oriented with strong quantitative decision-making skills required
Analytical, strategic thinker with ability to collaborate with various TEG functions
Advanced proficiency Microsoft Excel
Experience with NetSuite or other Enterprise Financial Systems
Consistent record for innovation, execution, and delivering results in a performance-driven culture
Possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent attention to detail
Strong data analytics skills. Proficiency in SQL a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as a strategic business partner to TEG functions by proactively drive strategy and finance discussions
within TEG functions
Be a leading contributor to the budgeting and forecasting process
Support reporting and analysis including KPIs, financial reports, performance dashboards
Analyze current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, capital
expenditure, and cash management
Collaboratively evaluate opportunities for revenue growth and cost control
Perform analyses to evaluate risks and opportunities for TEG
Ensure financial results are reported timely and accurately
Drive process and system improvements
Perform financial analysis and planning to provide recommendations to senior leaders to achieve strategic
goals
Perform variance analysis on business results again budget and forecast on monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc
basis
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic discussions, decisions, business initiatives, and special projects
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
