Marketing Support Specialist
The Erosion Company (TEC) is the largest and most experienced erosion control contractor in the Southeast and continues to experience strong growth. TEC provides comprehensive erosion control, specialty materials, forestry, and site clean-up and control services to a diverse range of clients across multiple industries.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Support Specialist supports the marketing and sales teams by creating, directing, and tracking results for all outbound marketing and customer and prospective customer interactions. This role is ideal for someone looking to build experience in marketing, branding, sales, and prospect identification and retention. All activities are focused on coordinating with other members of TEC to drive TEC revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Constant Contact platform, including email campaigns and contact lists
- Create and schedule social media posts (Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other applicable formats)
- Design flyers and marketing presentations
- Coordinate activities regarding interactions with Associations
- Manage TEC gifts, branding, and branded items.
- Update and manage email distribution groups for sales teams, locations, lines of business, and targeted customers and reps
- Assist with managing users and data on platforms such as:
- Salesforce
- Construct Connect
- Plan Hub
- Industrial Info Resources (IIR)
- Building Connected
- Participate in weekly meetings with leadership to support marketing needs
- Organize and manage company customer-focused events (e.g., March Madness events)
- Distribute incoming website quote requests to the appropriate sales team members
- Share association updates and opportunities with the correct sales territories
- Assist in creating and sending internal and external newsletters
- Identify new prospects and direct marketing to new prospects
Required Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
- 100% sales and revenue generation focus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or relevant internship/experience)
- Internship or coursework in marketing
- Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools
- Exposure to CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus
Work Environment:
- Collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities for growth
- Remote work schedule with some office days. Although primarily remote, the job will require field meetings, office meetings, and direct customer interactions on most days.
