- You’ll be a key contributor delivering mission-critical components across air, land, sea, and space.
- Your inspection results drive quality decisions, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- You’ll collaborate across teams—and with customer and government representatives—to uphold exacting standards.
- Set up and perform comprehensive dimensional and visual inspections of parts, components, and assemblies.
- Program and operate CMMs; use FARO Arm, Keyence Wide Area CMM, micrometers, height stands, optical comparators, thread/plug gauges, gauge blocks, and plating thickness gauges.
- Complete final product/assembly checks, first piece, first article inspections, and incoming inspections of vendor-supplied items per purchase orders.
- Document outcomes and issue formal inspection reports compliant with company procedures.
- Identify non-conformances, notify production/assembly, and follow through on corrective actions.
- Monitor quality trends; alert management when corrective actions or process improvements are needed.
- Recommend upgrades to inspection equipment or methods to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Interface directly with customer and government representatives.
- Keep a clean, organized workspace and adhere to all health and safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree or technical school equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of inspection experience; strong GD&T knowledge.
- Hands-on ability to program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines.
- High attention to detail; excellent organization and analytical capability.
- Skilled at juggling multiple priorities.
- Self-starter and collaborative problem-solver.
