Account Executive – Orlando
Position: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: In Office, Frequent Travel Required
What You’ll Do:
As an Account Executive, you will support and deliver best-in-class solutions to a portfolio of accounts, principally in the Orlando and Pensacola regions. The position has accountability for interacting day-to-day with our clients, prospective clients, carriers/TPA’s and General Agents, with responsibility to consistently communicate and deliver our value proposition for driving client satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities.
The position is an in-office opportunity requiring regular travel to the Florida Panhandle area, including multi-day trips and overnight stays.
Responsibilities:
· Relationship Management
o Support producers and the marketing/sales team to close and onboard new clients
o Build and maintain client relationships by understanding needs, objectives, and challenges
o Strengthen client relationships to drive retention, cross-sales, and referrals
· Client execution & visibility
o Develop and execute annual planning, renewal, compliance, and service calendars
o Communicate proactively, prepare thoroughly, and present solutions to C-suite and HR leaders
o Conduct on-site meetings to increase engagement, retention, referrals, and growth
· Operational excellence
o Deliver on commitments with clear, timely communication to build trust and loyaly
o Utilize benefits administration technology to reduce HR and payroll workload
· Technical/compliance expertise
o Oversee compliance requirements including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Form 5500, Healthcare Reform, and Section 125 plan regulations for health and welfare plan sponsors
o Leverage benefits administration technology and resources to reduce HR and payroll workload

Licenses & Qualifications:
- Active 2-15 Health & Life License in good standing
- 2–4 years of experience in employee benefits or a related field
- Strong knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefits
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with benefits administration platforms (e.g., Employee Navigator, Ease) and payroll systems
- Experience with agency management systems (e.g., BenefitZone, Applied EPIC)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a travel-based role
- Ability to work independently and manage workflow effectively
- Proactive, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate needs, initiate projects, and identify opportunities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation And Benefits:
RANGE: $55K -$65K (with an incentive program for Service Team members)
